47：善一郎と二人の息子 Zenichiro and his two sons

創業者・金谷善一郎は、試行錯誤の上に金谷カテッジインを創業・経営し、その後の金谷ホテルの経営を二人の息子に託しました。
Founder Zenichiro Kanaya established and ran the Kanaya Cottage Inn through trial and error, and later entrust the management of the Kanaya Hotel to his two sons.


金谷眞一は二代目社長となり、弟の正造は箱根の富士屋ホテルの山口家へ婿養子に入ってそれぞれ経営を担うことになります。
黎明期から発展期を担った親子での写真では、善一郎の温和な表情と二人の息子の精悍な表情が見てとれます。

The eldest son, Shinichi, inherited the Kanaya Hotel, and his younger brother, Shozo, was adopted into the Yamaguchi family who owned the Fujiya Hotel in Hakone, and they each took over the management of the hotel.
In a photograph of the father and son who were involved from the company's early days through to its development, we can see Zenichiro's gentle expression and his two sons' virile expressions.
