金谷ホテルのスケートリンクには手すりがありません。
初心者が初めて滑るには、かなり手強いリンクと言えるでしょう。
あくまでも推測ですが、そんなお客様を見ていたホテルの大工さんが「これ、作ってみたから」という感じでさらっと作ったんじゃないかな、と思っています。金谷ホテルではたまにあることです。
この木馬を氷上に浮かべて、手すり代わりにつかまりながら滑ることができます。

This is just a guess, but I think the hotel's carpenter, seeing guests like this, casually built it like, "Hey, we tried making this." This is something that happens sometimes at Kanaya Hotel.
This wooden horse can be floated on the ice and you can hold on to it like a handrail.
